GUEST INFO

You are most welcome to greet the festival mascot Pirkko the Parrot and experience the festival bustle! The films take you on a trip around the world, and when watching the movies the children have made, you can also get new ideas and tips of your own.

For the adults, there are a great number of short films made by adults at the Tampere Short Film Festival. There are therefore a plenty of things to see, not to mention all the other exciting goings on at the festival. So, while you are here, do check out what the Tampere Short Film Festival has to offer.

If you want a festival pass, a badge, you have to accredit by 28.2. This will ensure you a free access to all the Videotivoli screenings. Accreditation also lets us organisers to know that you are in town and we are able to contact you and inform you whatever is necessary.

If you are a guest of someone from abroad, please contact us at the festival office and tell us you are coming. We will help you with accommodation and airport transportation.

It is spring in March in Tampere. The weather is variable, but chilly. The daytime temperature can reach +0° C, but at night it can be as cold as -20° C, so it’s worth bringing some warm clothes, gloves, a beanie and a scarf.
